Meet Real Needs:
Join the Bat Signal Network
Where is the Bat Signal in the sky of Maryland?
It’s shining from local churches, stepping up to meet real needs.
Using a simple online tool — Need Bridge — we’re building a local web of care that connects people in need with people ready to help, making it easy for churches and individuals to be the hands and feet of hope in their communities. This is just the starting point — leading toward lasting relationships and healing in community.
Everyone can do something!
How it works: Social workers and trusted professionals post real, tangible needs—things that make a direct difference in the lives of local children and families. You can browse needs near you, sign up for ongoing email updates, and claim a need when you’re ready to help. Once you do, a social worker will contact you to coordinate the details.
Need examples include: a crib for a resource family with a newborn, a mattresses for a mom working to bring her children home, clothing for a kinship family… and many more ways to bring hope right where you live.
