Better Together for Maryland’s Families
Finding resources can be hard, but at Project Belong, we believe there can be More Than Enough in Maryland. The goal of this community event page is to create a simple way for people to find the support they need while amplifying the work of churches supporting vulnerable kids and families in every corner of our state.
🤝 Have an event to share? Whether it’s a foster care training, an adoption support group, a coat drive, a parents' night out, or a church engagement event, we want to help our community find you.

Rupture & Repair with Dr. Curt Thompson (Virtual)
"We believe that God’s good creation, in the language of neuroscience, is revealing in fresh ways what God has intended in Jesus from the beginning—that we are a people made for joy, for whom repairing ruptures is healing for our souls and our brains..." — Dr. Curt Thompson, Being Known Podcast Mission Statement
Curt Thompson, MD, is a board certified psychiatrist, author, speaker, and co-host of The Being Known Podcast. Through stories, neuroscience, and biblical reflections, Dr. Thompson will discuss how repairing even small ruptures can lead to greater resilience, beauty, and connection.
Open to all Project Belong volunteers, partners, and supporters - but especially helpful for church leaders, mentors, volunteers, and anyone walking alongside vulnerable families.
