Who We Are

About Us

My wife, Jen, and I have been foster parents since 2013. Foster care is woven into the foundation of our relationship and our desire to “Love God and love others. Serve God and serve others. Together.” Over the years, as we’ve cared for children in our home, we’ve continued to ask:

What would it look like to do this beyond the walls of our home?

Foster care can feel like rock climbing without ropes. Your grip is worn. The next slip feels like it could be your last. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Along our journey, we discovered a national movement of nonprofits equipping churches to come alongside vulnerable children and families. Yet Maryland lacked a coordinated network of churches engaging in this work.

We believe in a God who provides more than enough.

The Church is uniquely designed for this work and is filled with passionate people who care deeply. Each church and individual brings unique gifts so families don’t have to climb alone. The community becomes the safety net—bringing ropes, harnesses, and carabiners.

As we longed to see “more than enough” become a reality in Maryland, we connected with ministries in neighboring states—PA, WV, and VA. Through these relationships, and our abundant God, Project Belong VA became our partner and fiscal sponsor, allowing us to launch in Maryland.

Project Belong VA Partnership

Established in 2025, we stand on the shoulders of those who have tested what works and how to care well. Our partner and fiscal sponsor, Project Belong VA, has been serving families since 2018. They have generously offered their partnership, support, and years of expertise so we can reuse rather than reinvent. We are deeply grateful for their passion to see this work grow in Maryland.

How You Can Get Involved

As we continue in this work, we would love your partnership. Here are a few ways to join us:

Give – Become a monthly financial partner to help us build a stable and ongoing base of support.

Share – Help us expand this network by telling your friends, inviting others into the mission, and sharing with your church.

Volunteer – There are many ways to serve. You can help lead a ministry at your church, support families directly in your community, or volunteer your time and skills with Project Belong.

We’d love to get to know you. Click here to contact us.
